The Reckitt Global Hygiene Fellowships will be awarded annually to emerging and early-career post-doctoral researchers in the field of hygiene to provide up to three years’ support for their research. The RGHI Fellowships will be awarded to researchers to enable them to submit research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals that can be converted into education and health policy recommendations. The first application round has closed and is in the process of selection; the next round will open in the Autumn of 2021.
Fellowships must align with the RGHI fields of interest:
- The role of hygiene in the epidemiology and transmission of specific diseases
- Determinants of hygiene behaviours and effective behaviour-change approaches in high-burden countries
- Setting-specific hygiene-related interventions and their impact
- Intersection between hygiene, disease burden, and gender
