About RGHI

RGHI Working Mission

RGHI is working to promote, sponsor, and fund practical scientific research with the overarching objective of enhancing individual and public health. In doing so, we are paving the way to bridge critical gaps in hygiene-related knowledge and understanding. Our goal is to make significant advancements in hygiene practices that positively impact global health.

RGHI Vision Statement

RGHI is working to advance hygiene practices, develop sanitation solutions, and improve health education, all in pursuit of our mission to enhance overall well-being and reduce disease transmission worldwide.

We are a private foundation that aims to address gaps in research funding and data availability within the hygiene field.

  • Total of $12.9m invested into hygiene research projects
  • 14 hygiene research projects funded already by RGHI
  • 14 hygiene fellows supported already by RGHI

Donors

We support innovative hygiene research thanks to the ongoing generosity of our donors and partners. In 2020, Reckitt LLC founded RGHI as an independently operated private foundation with a $25 million seed grant.

Partners

We collaborate with our network of esteemed academics, scientists, and advisors, and with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, on our research portfolio.
